A Title I Am Proud Of: " Why Wash Your Car?" (Back2Blogging Day 3)

For the SITS Back2Blogging challenge, today's is to re-post a post with a title you are particularly proud of and explain why. I chose "Why Wash Your Car?" because it's a question that prompts people to wonder if they know or not. Also, doesn't that peak your curiosity a little bit to come and look to find out? Then, when you read the post, you will find a funny surprise about my dad. I hope you enjoy this one:

Why Wash Your Car?

Harry never washed his cars. I remember when I was a kid, we used to write things with our finger in the dirt on the car sometimes. He didn't care. For one Father's Day, my husband offered to wash my dad's car for him and he didn't even want Gerard to do it. He just said, "I don't need to wash it, I just wait for the rain to wash it off." He didn't want Gerard "wasting" his time washing it either.

I really cannot recall one time when my dad washed his own car or even went to a car wash. Although I only remember washing my car once myself, I did go to the car wash now and then. My husband loves a clean car and likes to wash it himself every week. In the winter though, he'll run it through a car wash. He does mine for me too.

How often does your car get washed?

I love your blog! Your dad sounds like he was quite a character :) Thank you for listing me on your blogroll -- I'm getting ready to update mine in the next week and will add yours too.

Well, my car definitely needs a wash right about now! I wait until I need a tank of gas to do it, usually...with the exception of when the mustard flowers are in bloom. Drive on the road between two fields of them and my car turns yellow (and leaves me sneezing....aaahhhhchoooo!). Cute post, thanks for stopping by & saying hello today! :>

There is nothing like a clean car in my book.

The one thing I hated about living where it snowed was the DIRT that ended up caked on my car!

by the looks of the boy in the photo, he used to bend over backwards to make his daddy's car all shinny and new! LOL!
I think he even taught this boy about the fuel injection pump and all the things that could go wrong with it! LOL!
Believe me, its a hell of a lot!

All the time! I have a clean car all the time. I really hate when the kitties walk on my windshield and I know it is time to get it washed again. What is with that???! Why do cats do that??? And the inside is just as clean as the outside.

I am so touched by what I've read about your mom and dad. Both of my folks are gone now too. Dad for 16 years this November and Mom's 10th anniversary just passed on September 3rd.

Two days after dad passed would have been their 50th wedding anniversary. My dad was also the more introspective one and mom.... well, let me just say that she was a character. LOL So very different, but yet so happy together. Love them and miss them both every day.

Thanks for stopping by and following my blog. I've yet to take a good look at your book blog, but it looks very interesting and informative. See you around the blogosphere!

Peace and Blessings,
Martha
